The M&P40c MeDLC from Smith & Wesson is a model usually reserved for law enforcement agencies only. But for a limited-time, this special-run of pistols is being made available to qualifying individuals.

The pistol features Smith & Wesson’s MeDLC finish - an upgraded finish with a much higher hardness rating on the Rockwell scale, but with no difference in appearance from the usual Melonite finish found on these pistols.

Front sight was off center by about 1/8. After fixing this it was fine. I sent an email informing S&W about issue and saying I don't need help just letting you know and they said they would let the marketing department know obviously clueless. Other than that great deal and as always, exceptional service from Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore.
