(5 out of 5) I love this rifle!
by from Lake Mary, FL on

I bought this a few years back. It's a Creedmoor with a muzzle brake, I mean... The kick is minimal at best. The stock finish is beautiful, yet durable, and it is not slippery. The Cerakote finish has withstood harsh weather each season. From stalking to tree climbers, to box stands, I've taken multiple white-tail deer with this rifle. The longest area I have to hunt is about 350 yards. I made a 260-yard shot last season. Knock down buck!

If I have to give any negatives, it would be the release for the magazine. It's not a deal-breaker, but not the greatest either. Very seldom do I do reviews, but I need to better, be it a good review or not. This Ruger checks all the boxes at a great price.

(5 out of 5) The quality you expect from Ruger..PLUS!!

Received it about 2 days ago, checked it out. Added a scope and went straight to the range. Out the box shooting a tight sub MOA. Its a 22 inch barrel, and with the muzzle break, it adds a little extra noticeable weight to the front of the rifle. The finish is amazing and soft in hands. The shoulder pad does its job, with the mini kick you get from creedmoors. The tang safety has a louder click than normal Now I am being picky lol, but we know any lil thing can spook a deer, especially them bucks. The trigger out the box is very crisp and clean. The mag is easy to load and feeds well. Takes a couple tries to get use to the mag lever, that is only because you have to push it towards the mag to release. Other than that. I am satisfied with this rifle so far. Will put it down the range a few more times, to get some rounds through it and really start to dial it in. Will definitely come back with a follow up later in the year, and if I get to fire it during next deer season. Thanks RUGER!!
