Product Description
The low-profile E-Max hearing protection from Caldwell combines great circuitry with a low profile earcup that’s ideal for shotgun shooters and action shooters. The two microphones in the E-Max amplify sounds below 85 decibels, which amplifies normal communication, range commands, and environmental sounds. Above 85 decibels, the microphones shut off for a split second to protect the shooter’s hearing. Two microphones - one in each cup - give the user true stereo sound and allow the user to identify the directional source of a sound. Includes an integrated audio input jack allowing music to be played. Runs on 2 AAA batteries (not included).

Awesome! Glad I selected this brand.
This product does a good job of amplifying low pitched noises and also blocking gun fire and other loud noises. The fit my head well and I like the tappered bottom of the ear cups for rifle shooting.
The only thing that keeps me from giving it a 5 is the static in the background when there is no noise to amplify or block. I noticed the static less after using them a while. I think I started to block out the noise.
All in all a solid product for the price. As always SOSS shipped fast.
