I bought this a few years back. It's a Creedmoor with a muzzle brake, I mean... The kick is minimal at best. The stock finish is beautiful, yet durable, and it is not slippery. The Cerakote finish has withstood harsh weather each season. From stalking to tree climbers, to box stands, I've taken multiple white-tail deer with this rifle. The longest area I have to hunt is about 350 yards. I made a 260-yard shot last season. Knock down buck!
If I have to give any negatives, it would be the release for the magazine. It's not a deal-breaker, but not the greatest either. Very seldom do I do reviews, but I need to better, be it a good review or not. This Ruger checks all the boxes at a great price.
I have to admit, the first time I shot it, it seemed bucky recoil for a 9, but after a couple more times, I found it controllable and very accurate, especially with the extended mag. I would recommend it for those with a somewhat strong grip.
