The Springfield XD 45 Compact is a 4” barreled pistol with a shortened grip frame for easier carry. Each gun comes with two magazines. A 10-round compact magazine and a 13-round Service Model magazine with XD Gear X-Tension™. That means a simple change of the magazine converts this 10+1 compact into a 13+1 Service Model.
