First Sportsmans Outdoor Superstore was great to deal with as usual. Fast shipping and easy transaction. Good price on the rifle, although it was $100 more than the same rifle in the law enforcement priced section but the LE priced model was out of stock while the other was in stock. Not a huge deal, still best price I could find.
The rifle itself is well put together and tight fitting but the finish was horrible. Several areas on the upper and lower receiver where it looked like the finish was worn off. The barrel and quad rail looked fine. Not a huge issue since I was planning on having it refinished anyway at Robar with their NP3 coating. So because I was going to refinish it anyway I didnt bother calling Smith to send it back. I know from previous experience that Smith would have taken care of the issue. So overall good rifle.
This is a great AR and very accurate with the 1/8 5R rifling. Shot several hundred rounds thru it with no issues then added EOTECH 512 with a SlideFire stock. I have not had any issues with this rifle and the stock. This thing has shot all ammo I have put thru it 223/556 steel and brass. For the price and quality you can't go wrong with this rifle.
100% satisfied. I ordered gun and it shipped quickly. They posted a banner on website that said shipping was delayed the day after I made purchase. I called and got fantastic customer service! Extensive research led me to this gun being the best possible option with a budget of $1000. I will buy from this site again!
