The Dissipator concept has been around for quite a few years and here is Windham Weaponry’s version of this “Old School” configuration. The Dissipator combines full length handguards for better heat dissipation and the same sight radius as a 20” target rifle on a carbine gas system. The gas block is concealed under the handguards and the 16” M4 profile barrel balances out this carbine at 7.2lbs.
