This is an excellent CC gun. It works flawlessly and it feels right in the hand. I bought it because I tried a friends M&P9C without safety thumb and it sold me. The one that I bought has the safety thumb, like I wanted it. It comes with 3 back grips, 2 mags and a nice little case.
I also enjoy dealing with SOSS. They are great!!

S&W M&P 9C - First on-line firearm purchase.
I did significant research before buying this gun, looking for the best combination of quality, price, flexibility, and utility for a home defense weapon, and possible CHL. The M&P 9C meets my needs, and the price was the best I've found. Communication and shipping were flawless.
I was so pleased, that I just came back and found spare magazines, also at the best price I've found anywhere, and bought three additional, to go with the two that were on-board the pistol purchase.
Very pleased overall, not only with the transaction, but with the quality of the Smith & Wesson. Fit, finish, and feel were exactly what I was looking for, and I would highly recommend it.
I saw this model on sale during the Independence Day weekend sale. It was about $409, which was $30 lower than their already low price. So, it was an offer I couldn't refuse. Had a small issue with getting the FFL dealer info sorted out, but the gun was delivered to the dealer about 10 days after ordering. Very efficient process. I picked up the gun at the dealer, and was pleasantly surprised to see it was shipped in a nice blue S&W hardshell case. I cleaned and lubed the gun, which is very easy to break down, and took it out for some test shooting. The gun has moderate recoil, but isn't as snappy as the 9mm Shield we also have. I ran almost 50 rounds through it with virtually no issues. It took me a while to get it close to my target at 21 feet, but felt I just need to get some more practice in. I like the 3 inter-changeable backstraps and am trying to figure out which one works for me. I like the feel of the pistol in my hand, seems natural. My wife and I are going to take a CC course soon, and these two guns will eventually be our EDC. Kudos to SOSS for the seamless order process and delivery. I would recommend them to anyone because of this and their very good prices.
