The high-strength stainless steel cylinder is extensively fluted (reducing weight) and features an Ionbond Diamondblack finish for excellent durability. The monolithic frame, which supports the cylinder and barrel, is made from aerospace grade, 7000 series aluminum.

Was looking for a small yet powerful revolver that was easy to use with older arthritic hands. The Double Action Trigger pull is easy and the gun is very lightweight. While +p can be used for younger stronger hands, a low recoil Round from Federal or Hornady makes a quick follow up shot easy, and easily handled by older hands. Sportman's had the best price I could find, even with the FFL transfer fee, the free shipping saved me $80 from local shops and shipping was reasonably quick. The revolver is simple, safe, and easy to operate, and the bright white front sight is easy to pick up, even in low light. Highly recommend both this revolver and Sportman's Outdoor Superstore.
Purchased for my 19 year old daughters first pistol. Never held or shot before. Took her to the range and she was hitting bulls eye within just a few rounds. I was amazed. Shoots very well with minimum recoil.
