It's like the Lexus of semi-automatic civilian tactical rifles: Smooth and reliable! I bought my M&P 15-T in 2014 and it's still going strong. Zero issues. Easy to customize and very accurate, but you have to clean the internal components often more so than an AK or Glock.
Recommend Vortex red dot scope and Burris 3x magnifier swivel scope 1/2 price and more reliable than Eotech!.

Extensive research led me to this gun being the best possible option with a budget of $1000. I will buy from this site again!
This was the first AR I bought and I love it. I did a lot of research on different ARs, and was thinking about buying the Sport 2, but decided to spend the extra money for this when it was on sale, and I am glad I did. Very customizable out of the box, and have had no issues.
This AR is a fantastic rifle right off the bat. It comes with top of the line irons, mid-length rails that will mount anything you need to mount with excess room, great trigger, and I love the barrel twist made for 62 grain, but shoots 55 perfectly. Personally, I added an upper sling swivel, sling, Vortex red dot, vertical foregrip, LED green laser/light two-in-one, put a relia-bolt carrier group, next level armaments charging handle, and a BFS III trigger, but this rifle is ready to go out the box make no mistake. I just love it.
I love this rifle. I've not had the opportunity to get in any range time yet, but from 50 yards the accuracy is incredible. Fast shipment. No complaints what so ever.
Great rifle, but the stock and grip got changed out for some Magpul stuff. Would of been nice if they used 4150 barrel instead of 4140. Added a PA 1x6x24 scope. It's an accurate rifle.
This is a great AR and very accurate with the 1/8 5R rifling. Shot several hundred rounds thru it with no issues then added EOTECH 512 with a SlideFire stock. I have not had any issues with this rifle and the stock. This thing has shot all ammo I have put thru it 223/556 steel and brass. For the price and quality you can't go wrong with this rifle.
First Sportsmans Outdoor Superstore was great to deal with as usual. Fast shipping and easy transaction. Good price on the rifle, although it was $100 more than the same rifle in the law enforcement priced section but the LE priced model was out of stock while the other was in stock. Not a huge deal, still best price I could find.
The rifle itself is well put together and tight fitting but the finish was horrible. Several areas on the upper and lower receiver where it looked like the finish was worn off. The barrel and quad rail looked fine. Not a huge issue since I was planning on having it refinished anyway at Robar with their NP3 coating. So because I was going to refinish it anyway I didnt bother calling Smith to send it back. I know from previous experience that Smith would have taken care of the issue. So overall good rifle.
