The Model 597 AAC-SD semi-autoloading rimfire rifle features a black synthetic stock, 16.5 in threaded blued barrel with thread protector. The threaded barrel accepts AAC and other 1/2 in -28 threaded flash hiders, muzzle brake and suppressors.

These guys had the best price I could find for a Remington 597 AAC. I had never ordered online before but was easy and quick.
This little 22 functioned flawlessly. I like the shorter barrel on this rather than the standard 597 and once you get a scope or red dot on it, it is a tactical driver.
