They should have made it a higher capacity. I also have the Taurus PT111 in 9mm. They both perform flawlessly. I have to give Taurus the winning hand. Higher capacity 12 rnds and just slightly wider by just under a 1/4 inch at the grip. Overall size is equal and the Taurus was $209.00 shipping and FFL transfer included. The Shield was $303.00 shipping and FFL transfer
I love this gun. Shoots amazing. Great grip. Thinking about getting a full size one now. Really fast shipping.
Outstanding transaction and quick delivery. The handgun is everything I thought it would be. You won't be disappointed. Overall great experience with the gun and the purchase.
Had a couple of unusual glitches with my order, but seller was responsive and easy to work with. Will definitely be coming back and recommending you to my friends.
I'd been planning on having some trigger work done or buying an upgraded trigger assy but I don't see the need.
Just put the first 200 rounds through my gun and it was flawless. Shot 150 rounds of WWB and Federal 115 gr FMJ. Next, was 50 rounds Federal HST 124 gr. which is my CCW round. This is my first 9mm and the recoil was very mild compared to my M&P 45. Follow up shots are fast and accurate. Have 2-8 round mags and a 7 rounder and had no problems keeping all 23 rounds in a 6 circle at 10 yards. The gun conceals well and shoots great! Overall, I am very happy with my new carry gun. SOSS was great as well, the gun was delivered quickly to my dealer in perfect condition.
Just got mine ran 50 rounds through it no problems. I also ordered an extra 8 round mag with it. Could not beat the price anywhere on the gun or the extra mag. The double slide spring is hard to pull back for my wife. It is STRONG. Just wished it had come with its own case though. But that is minor and with the low cost I understand.
I went through rounds of deciding on a carry pistol. I had an XDs in .45 but wanted to change to a 9mm for extra capacity. I didnt like how Springfield handled the recall and how the trigger was post recall. Ended up being around 8lbs and they wouldn't fix it because it was within spec. Didn't like all of the other similar sized firearms. I really like the way the Shield shoots and carries. The only thing I don't like is the safety, but it has yet to engage when I don't want it to. About 500 rounds through it now and no hiccups. SOS is great and the LE discount this is an unbelievable price. Less than my FFLs dealer price.
