This scope is crystal clear from 4.5 to 18 power. I sighted my M4 in and the turrets are crisp and adjusted very easily. At 18 power you can easily see your bullet holes in the target. I cranked the turrets up about a full turn both the elevation and the windage. I turned them back to zero and shot two more times and these bullets went into the 1 bullseye right next to the first ones. I am telling my friends about how great this scope is.
