This is not only a beautiful rifle but a very comfortable rifle to handle and shoot. Obviously a 22 MAG wont recoil that hard. The action is very smooth, and I had no problems feeding low quality 22mag ammo. The octagon barrel is a nice touch, and the iron sights are great. the gold body is very nice, and when properly taken care of will last a long time
