This was my first Mossberg long gun bolt action. I was interested in the design/style and 7.62/.308. I did look at several reviews and noted in one case the rifle provided had a front sight issue, so a new rifle was provided and operated well with open sights. Ok, so my rifle was delivered. Box undamaged, looked ok. However, the front sight was installed off center to the left and mounted with one little screw, like an air rifle!! Hum, quality control. Also, one of the P rail mounting screws was stripped! The rifle shoots well, cycles smooth, and shoots true. Basically feels good to shoot! I will put a scope on it and that's that!! I PURCHASED THE RIFLE FOR THE OPEN SIGHTS!! Not the quality I expected!!
