The durable, machined aluminum housing ensures the unit will stand up to whatever you throw at it. High-quality, fully multi-coated lens offers a clean, wide field of view. Our top-load system makes changing the CR 1632 battery a snap and alleviates the need to remove the sight when switching the power source. The power and dot intensity controls are conveniently located on the left side of the unit. Flush 1 MOA windage and elevation adjustments are super sleek and make sighting in a breeze. Note The Venom comes with a Picatinny mount—weighs 1.6 ounces with mount.

I have owned the Vortex Venom red dot sight for over a year. I own E.O. Tech, Aim Point, and Trijicon Red Dot Sights. In many ways this sight is superior or certainly equal to these higher priced sights. When placed upon a long arm this sight weight is not noticeable. When the 3 MOA sight is at it’s highest power it’s dot is perceived as a 6 MOA dot. When lowered in power it’s 3 MOA size making it dead on accurate. The battery is replaced without having to remove the sight from it’s mount. This red dot sight can fit on either a Picatinny Rail or it can be substituted for the rear sight on my H.K. handgun. There’s no need to purchase extra mounts. For it’s price, this R.D.S. is unparalleled in quality and features. Vortex customer service is very friendly and accommodating. All in all, I trust this sight to be accurate and very durable.
