Glock 23 Gen4 40 S&W Police Trades (Very Good Condition)

This firearm is like new with very little wear. It performs flawlessly no matter what type of ammo you put through it.

Bought it on Friday 2/28/2020 and it came on Tuesday 3/3/2020 but I couldn’t pick it up till the next day because they were busy. It came with no box just the one it shipped in and the gun with 2 mags in a zip lock bag also had nights on the gun.
 The gun looked brand new except on long scratch at the top of the slide but it’s not deep or really noticeable so it doesn’t bother me was very pleased and would buy again just wish it came with box and back straps for the money but can’t complain. I do not regret buying.

I had been seeing these guns advertised and wasn't sure if I should get one. Upon doing more research I decided to take a stab at one. These Police trade-ins are available in different condition options. I personally opted for the very good condition for $399 and I could not be more pleased with this pistol. I had it shipped to my local FFL and when they brought it out I was so happy.

Pistol was in original Glock case, 2 mags, ez- loader, cleaning rod, & even in opened owners manual. Seems that this pistol has never even been fired so I'm guessing I got one that was never even issued. Oh...and it even had Trijicon night sights!!! I strongly recommend giving this option a try. I know I will be ordering more Police trade-ins in the near future.

This pistol is flawless! My FFL couldn't believe its pristine condition. He doesn't believe it was even issued. It came in the original box with all the accessories back straps, lock, casing envelope with production date, mag loader. The feed ramp has no wear. This was a total score! Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore is top notch! Don't be afraid of these police trade-ins. They are amazing.

The Pistol is Perfect. It's hard to believe the Pistol was ever issued. There is not a nick or flaw on it. Extremely satisfied with the purchase. Ty SOS.

Purchased the Glock 23 Gen4 in Very Good condition on the July 4th Sale. The 2 mags were beat up and the slide release showed wear but overall the gun came in Excellent condition. The trigger was definitely not broke in yet so I added the Ghost connector which definitely seems to have helped. No cleaning brush, backstraps, loader, or manual but those aren't worth the extra $$$ anyway. Truck gun for now but I like it so much I may carry it this winter.

SOS shipped it out quickly and it arrived in the Glock box with all the original paperwork and packaging, could have passed as new! Gun came with the stock sights,2 back-straps, 2 mags and a mag loader. I went to the range the following day and put 300 rounds through it without any issues. I got this when it was on sale for $380. You will not find a better deal on a gen 4 Glock!!! I will also add that it feels neat knowing this pistol was once in the holster of a police officer.. Thanks SOS!!! Ordered September 2nd and picked up today on the 8th. Fast shipping and I can't believe the condition it is in. The only wear is on the slide release and everything else is pristine. Internals were a little dirty but clearly this gun was used to qualify and was hardly shot at all. Mine came with backstraps, 3-13 round mags, paperwork and lock, and case. The factory sites were a little rough but I intend to replace them with night sites. Will definitely buy again. Thank you SOS! Still need to go out and shoot the gun.

Order processed and shipped quickly, as usual. Gun arrived at my FFL in excellent condition. No substantial holster wear on the slide. Minor wear of the finish on the slide release and side of the ejector. There are a few scratches on the frame and sides of the sights. Arrived in factory case with two 13 round mags both in working order, backstraps, and paperwork. No lock. No night sites.

I swear this pistol is close to brand new. It says very good but I believe that is an understatement. And all for 420 bucks You cant beat that with a stick. Mine came with night sights, 3 mags, case, cleaning rod, and 2 original casings that were fired from the gun at the factory. Backstraps weren't included, which was expected, but it is perfectly fine with me. I highly recommend purchasing a firearm from these guys and I will be a returning customer. Also, shipping was insanely fast. I was expecting next week shipping some time but it was here in 2 days.

Better than expected. I misread and thought I got 3 mags with a gen 4, or would have bought a gen 3, but that's on me. Condition was very good, I'd had advertised it as new in box. No night sights, but did not expect them. No reason to buy a new Gun if these are available.

I purchased a G23 Gen 4 in very good condition and it was exactly that. U doubt that it was ever issued, not a scratch or a flaw at all. Did not come with back straps or a cleaning brush but I didn't expect those anyway. Great pistol and outstanding customer service, don't hesitate to order from them you wont be disappointed.

I purchased this pistol from their 4th of July promotion, and got a really good price on what looks to be a nearly new Glock. It has definitely had rounds through it, but very few. The pistol itself is in like new condition. My particular G-23 did come with night sights. It also came with the original hardshell case, paperwork, and two magazines. Very pleased overall, and would buy again.

I purchased a Glock 23 police trade-in that was rated Very Good. There are more than a dozen pits in the finish, along both sides of the slide. There is an inch long scratch on the top of the slide. Yes, I know this is a used pistol but I feel it should have been rated GOOD, not VERY GOOD. I've purchased a number of used guns from various sellers and none of the others would have rated this one as very good. Mechanically, there is nothing wrong with it. It needed to be cleaned and I detail stripped it. The pins came out very easily, indicated that it had been detail stripped before. Mechanically there isn't a thing wrong with it. It lives up to the very good rating on function and level of internal wear. I took it to the range and fired 100 rounds of cheap ammo through it, followed by 30 rounds of various hollow-points. There were no malfunctions. This pistol will be used at the range every week until I've put about 500 rounds through it. If it continues to function reliably, and I suspect it will, it will become my backup carry.

I ordered a good condition police trade in from here and was very happy with it. I though that in very good condition it'd be another great buy. This one came with no Glock box or manual, literally just the gun and 2 mags. Also the mags were heavily used and in very scratched up condition. Not what I was expecting after my last order!! The gun itself is in good shape, but I'm less than impressed after my good condition one was overall a better buy!

Practically brand new. Was a bit dirty inside but cleaned up easily. Mine came with box, two mags, two grip adapters, cleaning rod / brush and all paperwork. Looks to have been refurbished by Glock before being resold. Mine had the standard plastic sights but I am going to replace the sights with Trijicons. My first experience with Sportsmans Outdoor but not my last!

Received my order in under a week. The pistol was in excellent condition. It had a little powder residue inside, but the exterior was perfect. This was a later Gen 4 with the updated recoil spring assembly. It came with the standard polymer sights and two Gen 4 magazines. All the extras were in the case, including two backstraps in the bag.

The Very good rating basically equates to brand new as far as I can tell. No prints, no scuffs, no powder residue inside. They either did a great job cleaning it or it had never been shot. Delivery took about a week and a half. It came with 2 12 round factory mags. No literature, no mag loader, no additional back straps. The only difference between brand new and this were those 3 things. For $150 bucks off, I can do without those 3 things. FYI, the standard Glock grip which is what it comes with is the small size backstrap. Fits me fine. If you have larger hands you might want to buy the larger ones online somewhere.

Nick called and emailed me about a glitch in their system when I ordered the G23 Gen 3 VG and offered me a refund, wait for the next batch or purchase the Gen 4 VG with the same price. WHAT A CUSTOMER SERVICE. IT'S LIKE SHOPPING WITH AMAZON. I took the Gen 4 deal. When the gun arrived, my dealer and I were so surprised with the condition of the gun. We are not even sure if this gun had been through a hundred round. I am very pleased with my purchase!

First time ordering from this company and did not know what to expect. Took about two weeks to receive the gun, which was stated on the first page of their web site, so no surprises there. About the gun, WOW. In original case with matching numbers. Gun looked new. My FFL dealer was impressed with it also. Dealer stated we can not buy that gun for the price you paid. Will be doing a lot more business with them, as they have great prices and service to match.

All law enforcement guns I have purchased in the past...Have Night Sights And Three Magazines. I doubt these are official law enforcement issued Glocks. They are in near perfect condition without night sights and only two magazines. Magazines are Not Gen 4 that come with this gun. Hope this helps.

I couldn't have been happier when I opened the box. I'm sure this Glock 23 was unissued. Mine arrived in pristine condition. It came with two back straps, two magazines, Trijicon night sights installed and a 5.5 lb trigger. The feed ramp had zero wear on it, which makes me think it was cleaned and tucked away after the sights were installed.

I had one failure to feed on the first magazine I put through it. Two more mags fed flawlessly. After that I converted it to a 9mm with factory Glock parts except for an aftermarket barrel and Magpul magazines. I put one magazine through it without any trouble. I'm looking forward to running it more and seeing how it does. Hopefully the Glock reputation proves true.

I couldn't be happier with my G23. Initially I was skeptical. The pictures looked too good to be true, but I took a chance. Shipping was fast. With select shipping I received my order in 3 days. The piece looked new. I had to check the tag to make sure my FFL pulled the correct box. We looked hard to find external wear and had zero internal wear. Aside from the dust this thing looked new. Night sights are bright. I threw in a 9mm conversion barrel and took it to a class where we shot 500+ rounds - flawless. I've ordered trade-ins from other sites and was disappointed. If I get another trade-in it'll be from Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore.

Pistol had no marks or damage of any kind. It seems the pistol may have been used to qualify with once, but was otherwise brand new. No marks on the barrel from shooting at all. The gold-colored grease from the factory was still on the insides, with a light coat of carbon. Unfortunately I got the stock Glock plastic sights, which I had to replace with expensive Trijicon night sights. Anyways, this shoots way better than the Gen 3. Lower recoil and smoother, and the grip is amazing. It doesn't start tearing at the hands until the end of a 200 round range session or so, which isn't bad. I use this for CCW so I need that grip in adverse conditions. Great product/company, will buy again for sure.

The gun came in brand new condition.... I don't think the gun was even used and everything was in the hard case that a new gun comes with....Will buy more very good condition guns if their all like this one....Very Happy...Thanks Sportmans

Excellent service! My Glock 23 police trade arrived as described. Very good condition. The night sights were still bright and had only slight holster wear. My 23 arrived with only 2 magazines, box, and back straps. I emailed customer service and the shipped the 3rd magazine out and it arrived promptly. I am very happy with the overall experience. This was my 4th purchase from SOS and will not be my last.

First time ever buying a used gun and the only thing that showed it was used was it was a little dirty from being fired. I inspected it very close and couldn't find one flaw inside out out, anywhere! There is no way this gun could have been carried on duty and I would also guess it only has a few hundred rounds though it, if that. Yeah, it did take a week for them to ship it, but they tell you this to start with, so no worries. I haven't fired it yet, but I don't anticipate any problems.

I am totally impressed with this deal. Yes, the shipping is a little slow due to demand, but the pistol is literally brand new. Didn't hit my card until it shipped, and when it did ship, it only took a few days. Me & the guys at the store can't see ANY wear on it. It did ship with two mags instead of three, but a quick call to Sportsman's Outdoor and they had the delinquent mag on the way no fuss no muss. Will DEFINITELY be buying again.
