I have always wanted an M1A, as I have collected Garands for a while. After reading a variety of reviews for Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore, I sent them an email about the gen 4 scope mount, which was out of stock. After getting an email back, I was satisfied enough to place my order. The rifle shipped quickly, and I am more than pleased with it.
The rifle comes in a custom Springfield Armory nylon carrying case, with an M14 manual. I was surprised that the rifle came greased and ready to shoot. I will admit that I gave the performance rating a 5, even though I have not shot it, I could not enter a not applicable rating, but I cannot see how I will be disappointed. If there is a problem, I know that SAI will fix it.
I had a followup question for SOSS, and they remained helpful after the sale.
Bottom line is that I got a rifle that I always wanted, and was more than happy with Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore's customer service. Thank you Diane.
