Glock 23 Gen4 40 S&W Police Trade-ins (Good Condition)

Super fast shipping, being a police trade in I was very pleased to fine it looked as if it were brand new, with night sights and 3 clips. I could not be more pleased, great gun, great price, and great price thanks.

Ok first of all I’d like to say that a 400$ GLOCK in ATLANTA GA. Is not the best price ever. Ok let’s back track, first of all, I’m a little spoiled living in the land of GLOCK. GA. Not only that, but I live 30 minutes away from the SMYRNA GLOCK factory. Again, I’m spoiled, so take that into consideration. Lol. A deal on a Glock would be 350 300 $. That would be a juicy deal, but in most states this is a juicy deal at 400 plus FFL.

 That being said, my dealings with Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore, this being the first, were stellar. They did exactly what they said and coincidentally I found an FFL TRUPREP that was offering free transfers. So that made the deal just right. The stars and moons aligned and when I went to pick up my GLOCK I was expecting a GOOD CONDITION GLOCK, surprise, surprise, I got a brand freaking new GLOCK With...... Trijicon night sites! They are kinda getting on in age but who cares right! That made this deal just great. I know it could have gone the other way and I expected for there to be some rash or a ding or two, but no.

 This thing is practically brand new. The barrel has no wear on where one would expect. The serial numbers all match and came with matching box and the rest of the gear you would expect in the box. Even the old school 2 fired brass in the manila envelope that gen 4's came with. I broke the barrel down and found about the same amount of powder that would be seen from shooting 2 rounds. I’m very familiar with shooting, cleaning and basic gunsmithing of GLOCKS and this gun is brand new.

 Ok that all said, if I was to go into buying this again and I will, I go into this expecting a semi rough looking gun. I think if you go into this expecting nothing to be wrong and expect a perfect gun then I’d suggest go buy a new gun. You might be disappointed. Ask yourself would you buy a used gun. I would. No problem. I was expecting it to be rough and I’ve been pleasantly surprised. I would suggest the above if you're going to do this. They ain’t all like this but if you look at the reviews a lot are very good to somewhere in the middle. Totally worth it in my eyes.

Just received my Glock 23 Gen4. Shipping was very quick! Came with 3 13 round magazines & Night sights in original box. Has holster wear but barely even noticeable, overall great condition & shoots great.

Shipping was fast. Gun had been fired, but appeared to be in almost new condition.Came in original box, with all the factory extras. First 100 rounds cycled flawlessly.Very happy with purchase, and wish I'd bought 2!! Thank You SOSS!!

The Glock 23 gen4 I received came with mismatched frame and slide. The frame is brand new, that's a good thing and has a different serial number from the slide/barrel. It original has clearly been replaced for some reason cracked maybe. It came with factory Glock plastic contrast sights, the photos clearly show night sights but are not promised so not a big deal. It also came with two 13rd beat up magazines. Overall I'd say it is or close to the described good condition.

I picked mine up from my FFL this week- it appears to have been unissued. There is no wear on the pistol whatsoever. The magazines appear to be used and slightly worn, but are in good condition. Back straps were still in sealed package and box had all the original paperwork.

Was a cop trade in, but it looked like it had never been fired and had all the goodies in the factory box. Very happy with it!

Got my Good Condition Glock 23 Gen4 in last week, only took 2 days to receive with the expedited shipping. Couldn't be happier. Very very slight holster wear, and the front sight is a little worn, but other than that it is perfect. You can easily tell it has barely been fired. Plus, I got the original box, 2 mags, paperwork, and back straps still in the wrapper! You can't beat that.

I usually don't write reviews.. but this deserved it.. Came with the Glock box, little plastic unopened bag with the backstraps and pin removal tool, 2 mags, manual and fired case. No night sights,  other than being a little dirty from being fired.. the gun is in excellent condition, no marring on the finish or scratches in the polymer. There is VERY SLIGHT holster wear on top of the slide between the rear sight and ejection port, but is so slight, I didn't notice at the time of pickup, and didn't notice until a couple days later when the light hit it just right... all in all, good gun for the money, can't beat it.. If you're considering it, buy it... I spent over 2 months searching the web for the best price vs condition ratio and these where among the first to come up.... ultimately, I bought it, and have no regrets.

I've got to commend Sportsman Outdoor for a fantastic sale! I ordered my Glock 23, Gen 4 good condition two weeks ago. First, shipping was much, much faster than anticipated. My Glock 23 arrived at my FFL dealer in under a week and a half! I elected to buy my Glock 23, Gen 4 in good condition, which was my halfway point between the ones list in fair and very good. I elected on good condition based on other reviews. I couldn't have been more pleased when I opened my Glock box! Outside of some carbon on the feed ramp inside, my Glock almost appeared new and unfired. While mine wasn't provided with back straps, it wasn't an issue, since I don't use them on my duty weapon, Glock 22, Gen 4. Neither did my new gun come with trijicon sights, but again, not an issue. Like I said, the gun appeared new! Both magazines that were provided also appeared unused. The pistol fires like a dream, and performs exactly how I would expect. For the money, and considering blue label can't be located in my community without a 6 to 9 month wait, I have no doubt that I got one heck of a deal and would, without a doubt, recommend it to anyone considering the Glock from Sportsmans Outdoor.

I purchased my Glock on Sunday 7/24, the free delivery was 2 day mail and it reached me by Friday 7/29. The Glock itself was rated in Good condition, but when it arrived, was literally in perfect condition. There is no sign of wear at all, no scratches, completely clean...I would hazard to guess it had never even been fired. The clips included don't look as new, but they work perfectly fine. I've put over 100 rounds through this gun since I got it, and I can definitely say that the gen 4 recoil is much lighter. All in all, I am super happy with this purchase.

This glock should have been rated Fair Condition. My dealer/friend agrees. Lots of wear on the slide in and out. Front sight broken off, frame scratched up and one of the mags looked like it was subjected to a torture test completely unusable. I guess I was one of the unlucky ones. It was definitely disappointing as the reviews had my hopes up. After some TLC, new sights, new mags and some elbow grease it functions reliably. Overall it would have been more cost effective to try the very good condition or purchase new. I'm happy that most people have had success with theirs. Perhaps I'll have better luck next time. On the other hand, I have been VERY happy with SOSS with my other transactions.

Gun had very minor wear on the slide, came with the box, 2 backstraps, standard sights and speed loader. Shoots great, for the sale price of $339 its a great deal.

Amazed when I picked it up from my ffl dealers and noticed it was practically brand new. I was expecting some holster wear but that was non existent. The only thing was that it was dirty inside from being fired that was it.

Got the Glock 23 good condition police trade in. It is practically brand new no scratches no scuffs looks as if its never been fired or holstered.

I purchased a Glock 23 4th gen during the Memorial day sale for $339. Police trade in. The pistol was in excellent condition and came with a Glock case, additional backstraps still in bag, brush, manual, 2 mags etc. The pistol showed no signs of wear at all on the outside and upon break down the pistol revealed minimal to no use at all. I would consider this pistol new. Extremely happy with my purchase and will be checking this site often for new/police trade in items. I would definitely recommend this company.

I ordered a good condition Gen4 23 knowing it would have some wear, but what I got was a like new pistol, with very little wear. The magazines had some scuffs, but that is not a big deal. This was my first purchase from SOS, but not my last, I have order three more Glocks and some of the great deals on police trade-in ammo.

Ordered this one on a whim for my belated birthday gift. And I just lost my words when I received it! I have had a couple of trade-ins bought before and always had to tinkle to get them to the shooting condition to my liking. Most came with NY trigger that takes a Terminator to pull makes you admire our serve and protect for their training!

This one came in like a dream!! flawless. Original serialized case, 2 mags, and did I not care for loader or a brush anyways cause once you bought any cleaning kit you would not want to use the factory brush anyways. ALL of my prior trade-in Glock sights had to be moved to get even close to the target makes you wonder if cross-eyed is a job requirement or if they were purposefully foiled with. This one came with the pristine factory sights and gave me 10 yard bulls-eyes every single time with any ammo. WOW! What a rush that was.

Barrel groves looked virgin, so did the whole finish of the gun. Mag well was looking like the barrel groves. The only thing I regret is not getting two of them, cause my better half laid her eyes on my precious toy after seeing the target holes and I want to be happy... Good buy my precious : so I am getting another one. Just have to skip my buddy night for the next, well, few months, but well worth it!

I even snatched one of those Safariland level 3 hip holsters and double mag pouches while they were on sale and a rare stroke of brilliance - didn't show them to my beauty queen. Ditched the drop leg platform and just use it as a belt holster.

WOW! I would not even mention the color of my FFLs face when I was doing the transfer... I think he bought the rest of them for the sale price right after...

I was very pleased to open the box on the used Glock 23 in good condition that I purchased. It did not have any holster wear and very little barrel smile. It came with the Glock box, two magazines and all the original paperwork. The only thing missing from brand new was the extra magazine, speed loader and the backstrap kit.

G23 4th Gen. no night sights or back straps but very clean and excellent condition except for wear on sights metal sights and slide release. Everything else, including barrel look brand new.

Very happy with purchase. They sent me a very nice Glock 23. With all OEM standard items included in the box. Very little wear and just needed a little extra cleaning to be just like new. The mags have been around the block but work just fine. Standard Glock sites.

I bought a few of these as I couldn't pass up on the price. My only gripe is that the plastic Glock factory sights on all of them seem to be pretty worn. One of the front sights, the white is completely worn off so it's basically a black sight, and another one of the front sights, has been torn slightly in the front so that when you look through the sights, part of it sticks out on the left side which might affect my ability to shoot it as accurately. My guess is that whatever police department traded these in, used them with a particular type of holster that tears up the sights, especially the front one. I'm kinda surprised that the sights could get torn up so much and the rest of the pistol to look so new still. Only one of them came with back straps which is unfortunate, but I'd say it's probably the police department's fault for not keeping the accessories together.

Gun had been shot very little. Looked practically new, not a scratch and no holster wear marks. I got the plastic Glock box, cleaning rod, brush, still sealed manual, unopened pack of backstraps with the little tool, lock, 2 gen4 mags... all for $339. I was hoping for night sights but this G23 has the stock sights. I ordered on Tuesday with select shipping and received it 2 days later on Thursday. The armorer at the FFL checked the internals and everything was fine. I would call it very good to excellent condition. It may just be luck of the draw but I am extremely pleased.

1 magazine was in great condition except it has some writing on it, which is no big deal. The other mag looks like a tiger chewed on it, but gun is in excellent condition and I'm a happy customer with my purchase.

Mine has several nasty gouges in the polymer frame around and in front of the trigger guard. It almost looks like someone beat on a workbench with it. The sights especially the front were in rough shape too. The slide looks nice so maybe this was just overlooked during the QC process. Not quite what I was expecting.

Ordered Saturday night, shipped Wednesday, arrived Friday. Condition good as described. Majority of wear is on slide release and extractor LCI. Plastic Sights. Included Gen4 magazines in great shape, unopened pack of backstraps and tool, unused cleaning brush and rod, original lock, documentation, brochure. Pistol appears to have been carried a lot, but looking at the barrel it does not appear to have a high round count. I would have liked night sights even if they were dead as I prefer dots, and the extended slide release would have been nice, both of which are common on LE specimens. However I would not trade for a lesser condition pistol in exchange for those features. Overall I am very pleased. I will be buying another police trade from SOSS in the future.

I didn't need another pistol but I couldn't turn down a Glock 23 Gen 4 for $339 shipped so I picked one up and thought we will see what it looks like. My gun had minimal wear and included the adjustable backstraps. I read some review they were missing. Overall I am very happy and will be buying more police trades from them in the future.

Ordered my 1st police trade-in after reading the other reviews. I really had no intention on buying another gun since I had just recently added a cz p07. But the prices seemed really good 339.00 for a gen 4 Glock 23 in good condition. Thought hey, it's a Glock. Why not. So far I'm very impressed with the overall condition of it. Front sight was worn due to holstering maybe, but I intended to replace them with night sights anyways and a nice cleaning is all it needed to make it like new condition. My ffl also was impressed with the condition and price. Ordered it on a Monday and it shipped Wednesday. Was at my ffl Friday and in my hands Saturday morning. My 3rd purchase from SOS and very happy with all 3. I'm sure it won't be my last. Can't wait for a good price on a Sig Sauer police trade in.

I must have gotten the bad one. There was extensive holster wear on the slide in the front muzzle area and the top behind the ejection port. The slide release was 70% silver from wear, the take down tabs were silver from wear also. Scratches were on the hood of the barrel, and the sides of the slide. The front sight looked like it was chewed up, too. This gun was ran hard and put away wet. I would say there was in excess of 1500 rounds put through it based on the wear patterns of the barrel. This pistol was fair condition cosmetically and maybe good condition internally. Regardless, for $340, it will be a cheap reliable daily carry.

Just picked up my G23. After a quick cleaning, it is new. Only imperfection was on the front site where it was slightly banged. Magazines were like new. Thank you!!!

Received my good condition police trade g23 gen 4 today. I am impressed and don't usually take the time to write reviews. Thanks to those that do, but I felt like this deserved it.

Condition was better than good. Pistol has minor holster wear on the slide release and nothing on the slide. Inside looks great as well. It was either really cared for or barely used. I'd give it an overall 95% condition.

Standard Glock sights installed and they are in good clean shape. Only negative was one of my mags will not hold the slide back and like others stated are pretty beat up. I reached out to Sportsman's about replacing the non functioning mag. Either way it doesn't detract from the value of the deal. Get one! You will not regret it.

I bought a Glock 23 Gen4. They sent me a super nice police trade in. Was very surprised at how new it looked. I just ordered a Glock 17 Gen 3 police trade in for $369.00 I hope they send me one that looks new like the Glock 23 gen4 maybe they will. I will report that when I get it in. Will let you know the condition they sent me. SOSS GREAT PRICES ON GUNS !!!!

The other two reviews make you hopeful. I received mine today. I can't complain because of the price. My good should actually be listed as a fair condition. Not terrible but obvious slide wear, hasn't been cleaned, mags look like they were dragged on pavement a little. And no back straps. Top of the front sight is worn to the screw it.

When I picked up the gun and opened the case I was in shocked the gun is practically brand new. No marks or scratches, the barrel looked like it wasn't even fired, the only little ding it had is on the front sight. I don't know anywhere else that can beat this deal. I still haven't fired it. I'm waiting for the weekend but based on the condition and its a 10 out of 10 great buy, processing and shipping was great as well. I would recommend this deal to everyone.

This is a great pistol. The one I received just had a little wear on the front sight. The night sights were dim, but this could be expected with a pistol of this age. My pistol was shipped with one less magazine than was advertised and when I notified customer service, they shipped out the missing mag the same day. This is the second police trade in Glock that I have purchased from Sportsmans Outdoor. Each purchase has gone smoothly.

For the price I was very impressed. My Glock had very little wear, looked as if it was holstered once and never shot, also it came with tritium night sight, oh yeah!! I ordered my police trade in Glock 23 ON 2/29/16, Received it a week and a half later, but I'm a patient person, I understand Sportsmans Outdoor Superstore has the best prices and for that reason they are backed up on orders.
