The AM-15 Lower Receiver is American made with superior quality for less! Anderson's lower Receivers are CNC machined from a high-strength, 7075 T6 aluminum forging for reliable performance and outstanding durability. Machined to Military Specifications & Standards and marked "Multi-Cal " to be used with multiple calibers on the AR-15 platform. This Lower Receiver comes in type III black hard anodize and an Open Trigger. Don't over pay for the same lower receiver with a different logo and use your money saved elsewhere on your build! This is my third purchase from Sportsman Outdoors. I can't express how great customer service and overall experience is with SOS. Purchased this lower for my AR 15 build and it fits my upper assembly like a glove. There is no wiggle or spacing issues whatsoever with my upper. This is my go-to store for all my firearms purchases.
Purchased for my first build. I was impressed with the anodized finish, very smooth nice looking. Trigger crisp tight 8lb pull. I purchased second one. The finish was not as nice or smooth. I guess it's the luck of the draw. Still a great value.

I ordered this Anderson AM-15 complete AR-15 lower in the beginning of January. Unfortunately, for me, FedEx had weather delays and lost my shipment. I've contacted SportsmansOutdoorSuperstore.com and had immediate customer service response in which they said they would contact FedEx. FedEx said it should be sent out within the week, but when I checked on the shipment a week later, customer service said they'd start the paperwork involved to report the lost shipment of an FFL item. The customer service rep stated she can get another new order processed to get it to me ASAP. Amazingly, it was only a few days after this last call with customer service that I received a confirmation that my new order was sent to my FFL. Amazing service from SportsmansOutdoorSuperstore.com. The AM-15 lower I have received compares to my other low-mid tier lowers with the fitment. It might be just a little tighter than my PSA. Upon inspection, the trigger assembly looks a lot like a BCM trigger I have seen at my local gun store. Not sure if it's really a BCM trigger, but I can tell you all of my lowers are in the low-mid tier range, and all of the triggers, including the AM-15 trigger, are still very decent! I have a Geissele and a Timney in my other builds, and I don't think anyone really needs anything else than this MilSpec trigger. If anyone is looking to build an affordable AR, this lower is the way to do it, even if you need to change the buffer system. This complete lower, with the additional costs of buying more parts, is still going to save you more money than trying to build a complete lower yourself. If this is something that you are on the fence about buying, I say just buy it! And thanks to SportsmansOutdoorSuperstore.com for the great service!
Bought in August 2024 an Anderson Manufacturing Complete Open Trigger Assembled AR-15 Lower Receiver Multi Cal. I had a Colt Industries complete 5.56mm Upper Receiver Assembly with 14.5 Barrel which I attached to my Anderson Manufacturing Complete Open Trigger Assembled AR-15 Lower Receiver Multi Cal perfectly. Both lower and upper fit together like they were made precisely for each other. I went to the gun range and fired six 30-round magazines 180 / 5.56mm rounds. Astonishing, with absolutely no misfires. I am very satisfied with my purchase from Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore.

I've bought 3 of these and they have all been great. I was planning on switching out their triggers but didn't because the triggers are surprisingly good.
There are several problems with this product. First, the trigger pull weight is greater than 8 lbs (my scale max), and I’d guess it's 10+ lbs. I know this is a budget lower, but come on, this is way too stiff of a pull. Then, when I pulled the rear takedown pin to mount an upper, the pin came all the way out, and the detent pin shot across the garage, never to be found again. This, of course, meant I had to remove the buffer tube to install a new pin. Additionally, the buffer tube castle nut was not staked, and the safety switch/lever was so stiff I had to use a pair of pliers with taped tips to initially move it. I applied generous amounts of quality gun oil and kept working the lever. While it's still very stiff, I can now manipulate it with my thumb. Bottom line: VERY DISAPPOINTED.
I’ve had this on my primary AR-15 setup, and it feels great. No issues so far after approximately 4k rounds. I’ve had it for four, almost five years now.
I had misgivings about ordering the Anderson complete lower at such a low price, but it surprised me. For the price, it can't be beat.
I dropped my Stag .223 upper, my BCA 6.5 Grendel, and my new BCA 7.62x39 uppers onto the receiver. all went on with no problems, and function was perfect. I fired 40 rounds each today.
Sportsman’s Outdoor Superstore got it shipped out promptly, and it arrived the same day as my new BCA upper, Both ordered the same day. I’d buy this lower again and definitely buy from SOSS again.
This lower was terrible. I had to use a hammer and punch on the takedown pin. Not a tap. Several hard hits. I was afraid I was going to break the lower. The safety couldn’t be moved. I had to replace the safety spring. The trigger was the hardest pull weight I have ever felt on any gun. I polished the trigger and replaced the springs. Do yourself a favor and buy a different lower. You get what you pay for with this lower. You will have to pay more to fix it.
Amazing lower. Only issue I had was the safety spring being too big. I cut the spring down maybe 3–4mm, and the safety selector was perfectly fine afterward. If you have this problem, cut small sections off the spring and not all at once so you can adjust the tension accurately. These pair great with Bear Creek uppers as well!
