The M1 1945 Carbine features many of the same characteristics of the original Inland Carbines and are manufactured in the USA!
The M1 carbine is modeled after the last production model that Inland manufactured in 1945 and features a type 3 bayonet lug / barrel band, adjustable rear sights, push button safety, round bolt, "low wood" walnut stock, and a 15-round magazine. A 30 rd mag catch was used to allow high-capacity magazines.
Beautiful weapon. I got the non-bayonet lug version, WW2 correct. Front sight looks like it was attached with vise grips, a simple file would have cleaned it up nice prior to shipping, but whatever, it made it past inspection. Mine now, and it’s an otherwise well-made M1 Carbine. Wood seems lighter in color than I expected based on pictures. Magazine release was extremely stiff, nothing some oil and 30 minutes of switching it back and forth couldn’t fix. Action is smooth. Haven’t shot it yet. Going to refinish the stock with RGL-69 for the WW2 rifle look.
