The FNS™-9 offers the simplicity of double-action striker-fired operation. The slide stop lever and magazine release are all fully ambidextrous for ease of operation with either hand from any firing position. Both the slide and barrel are stainless steel and the checkered polymer frame has two interchangeable backstraps with lanyard eyelets. A MIL-STD 1913 mounting rail on the underside accepts tactical lights and lasers. This firearm has no manual safety.

I bought my FNS for $700 at my local gun shop back in 2013 when there weren't many of these in circulation. I loved the look, but I love the accuracy even better. No drifting required. It seemed dead on right out of the box. I have put thousands of rounds through it including steel with no failures. I know. Everybody makes that claim If it ever does wear out decades from now, I'll be happy to replace it with another FNS. Great handgun!
Absolutely great feel in the hands. Started off with Winchester 9mm NATO 124 grain ammo with 200 rounds with no issues, then switched over to federal HST 147 grain +p and again no issues. Night sights glow nice and bright at night. Overall very pleased with the purchase and service of Sportsman Outdoor Superstore. Fourth firearm purchase and I plan to continue with future purchases. Great prices, I always check with them first before I look anywhere else. They're hard to beat price-wise on a lot of different items
