Its 5R rifling and a Melonite QPQ finish ensure the most consistent, accurate performance in any conditions, while the Recon’s custom-forged lower receiver and BLACKHAWK! adjustable buttstock and pistol grip impart a look that stands out from the crowd.

Wow, the amount of gun you can get for 800 bucks is stunning. I love everything about this rifle excluding the junk sights. Especially the 5 r rifling and .223 Wylde target chamber. The handguard is amazing. The trigger a little heavy, 6.5 lbs but very smooth and consistent. Custom forged lower receiver gives character. Easy sub MOA groups. Savage outdid themselves with their MSR line!
