The photo represents the overall condition of these Sig Sauer P226R DAK police trades, all of which are in good condition.
Price is for one Sig Sauer P226R DAK police trade-in pistol, which comes with two 12-round magazines. As with many used and police trade-in firearms, these may contain scratches and/or holster wear. This is not always the case, but should not be unexpected.
Please note that used firearms may contain surface rust, light scratches and/or holster wear.
I managed to pick up a job replacing the action, sights and grips on one of these, and the condition overall, was quite good, indeed. I swapped the sights for newSIGLITE Night Sights, changed the action to DA/SA SRT, and replaced the grips. I also went through the entire pistol, including a Zyglo/magnaflux inspection, and mic-ing all the components. Any wear was purely cosmetic, and I preach internal condition, and function over looks. I am not a DAK, or LEM trigger person. The DAK action was still excellent, but the new owner wanted DA/SA SRT. I think sending it to Sig is cheaper, but I can have the gun back in service in 48 hours or less. DAK is a great action for people who like a DAO pistol, and the Sig DAK action is excellent, with a very nearly linear trigger pull weight, where the shooter has to almost completely gauge the break point by travel distance alone. There might be a tiny bit of stacking before the break, but its almost imperceptible. Testing was done with Winchester White Box 180 grain FMJ, and one magazine of Speer Gold Dot 180 grain JHPs. NO ISSUES AT ALL! Typical Sig quality as made by JP Sauer Germany, or Sig Sauer USA. The cops that had these were very lucky to have had them! They also took good care of the example I worked on.
