I’m very happy with this rifle I’ve taken it plenty of times to the range with no problems at all. The shipping was slow but I’d recommend this rifle for your first AR15. Always satisfied with Sportsmans Outdoor Superstore!
Great AR, its a Smith and Wesson! Looks good shoots well. I had the basic version of this and wanted the Magpul MOE , M LOK furniture, not to mention the base option only gives you a hand guard with no heat shield. With this AR, you get a good hand guard, and I dont need gloves at the range anymore. I have ordered from Sportsman Outdoor Super store many times. Firearms are shipping a bit slow at the moment, about 10 days to my FFL, they are not as fast as Midway or Palmetto but I have never had an issue with an order arriving,and they normally have in stock what Palmetto and others have been out of During Covid. so props to Sportsman for having this in stock when others were out for months, even with the slow shipping, which is disclosed upfront, I give you a 5 out of 5. I spent years wanting to get my first AR, and I did a lot of research before finally pulling the trigger on this one. I have had it over a year now, and after several hundreds of rounds of cheap ammo, I have not had a single FTF or FTE. After getting use to the iron sights, I can attest that this gun is accurate. I put a red dot on it, and wow. The Magpul furniture is nice, and although the M-LOK is not as popular as standard picatinny rails, there are still lots of compatible accessories. Back that up with a limited lifetime warranty from Smith & Wesson, and you have a rock solid rifle. If you're looking for a first rifle or just another one to add to your collection, this would make for a safe bet. As far as SOSS goes, I had an excellent experience. Great price, fast shipping, and friendly customer service.
