This is one of those toys Ive wanted for a while---when I saw the sale price, I HAD to buy this pistol. I exchanged the stock grips with Hogue recoil reducing grips the swap out was quick and easy. Its NOT one of those pistols you'll shoot all day...I fired 13 rounds through this beast and my hand was sore three days...LOL! I purchased when I lived in Washington State. Im now back in my home state of Michigan and plan to deer hunt with this gun. My only dissatisfaction are the sights which is why i gave an overall rating of 4. They have a solid black blade for the front sight, and a black square aperture for the rear...which makes it hard to see in darker situations. I guess I can always get them switched, but Taurus could upgrade the sights, especially considering what one would pay in terms of the regular price.'

Couldn’t pass on the price. Bought in place of a raging bull 44 mag I sold. Was not very accurate out of the box but the rear sight is adjustable. Gun is build well. I have 25 rounds of 325 grain ammo through it without an issue. Great buying experience with soss
Love this gun. What a beast. Accurate right out of the box. Yes it does kick and it is really loud but that is expected.
I have looked at this gun for years. But it seems to never be on sale. Then SOSS knocked it out of the ball park with their pricing again on another fine firearm. I turned several of my friends on to this and they love it also. Many Thanks SOSS!
I have always thought that a big bore pistol would be fun to own. Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore made it too tempting to pass up and I now own one. It is not as bad as I thought, the recoil is not hard to control. I have no regrets, love the gun and enjoy shooting it. I will continue to recommend Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore to all my friends!
All I can say is WOW!!! Totally awesome service and gun. This gun is a hand cannon and is very impressive. When at my ffl for pickup, a customer asked what I was going to hunt with it. I've wanted one of these wheel guns since I was about 19. 10 years later I see it on this site, and immediately ordered it. My shops cost on this revolver is almost $750, so I wasn't going to let this opportunity pass by. It took exactly 7 days from ordering it to being at my dealer.
