No gimmicks, rebates or mail-in offers for gift cards... just the rugged, reliability of the striker-fired LC9s®, now with integral sights and a no-hassle price point that won't break the bank. This new Ruger® EC9s™ centerfire pistol is an EDC (everyday carry) pistol that will keep cash in your EDW (everyday wallet).
Consider it your everyday, affordable carry conceal pistol. Slim, lightweight and compact for personal protection, the EC9s is just slightly larger (less than 1" taller and 1"longer) than the popular and incredibly compact LCP. The striker-fired action featuring a short, light, crisp trigger pull is ideal for faster, and more accurate shooting. In addition to the manual safety, the EC9s also includes an integrated trigger safety, a magazine disconnect, and an inspection port that allows for visual confirmation of a loaded or empty chamber. The EC9s from Ruger is ideal for everyday concealed carry.
I bought the handgun because of the price and I also have a couple other Rugers, took it to the range with no issues and it is now my one of my favorite EDC. Great handgun!
The second gun I bought in my life was the Ruger LC9 back in 2015. Of course when I bought it, the LC9s was already in the works, but I got used to that looong trigger pull! I realized the EC9s was the same pistol as the LC9 and saw this on sale at SOS, so I bought one. After my purchase I found it for $10 more at SW, which would have saved me $10, since I pay $20 to the FFL. No biggie right! I was surprised my first time shooting it though because I had 3 FTE out of the 7!! Opps, I had my old magazine made in Italy from my LC9. I took the gun home and took it apart and all looked fine. The next day I used the new mag and had no issues. All I could think of my old LC9 mag might have a weaker mag spring. I tried the 9 rd. mag and it also worked fine. I put 50 rds. through it and no FTEs or any other malfunctions. That's the only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5. After shooting the EC9s and then shooting my old LC9, it took a few shots to get used to the old long trigger lol, but I will just keep it since the magazines, holster, and my CT laser all fit from my LC9. It was a worthy upgrade. I enjoy all shooting my Ruger pistols!
Feels awkward to pull the trigger and then having to squeeze a second time to fire the weapon. Causes inaccurate shots!
i purchased this weapon about 6 months first time at the range highly impressive ,good gun for ladies to carry. love it
Love this gun, shoots accurate and easy to conceal. I have 2. Get yourself one you wont regret it.
Great gun I have 2 now.
Great little weapon, fun to shoot
Great firearm, happy customer and was my first buying experience from this site.
Had trouble with the ejector off the bat but Ruger has out-raced themselves as service and quality. The gun was back in less than a week, across a weekend, functioning perfectly. Ruger customer service was perfect as was the Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore service.
The gun shoots well now, but if you have big hands then can't rely on it to be accurate beyond 7 yards. I shot at a really small target, about 10 by 8 inches from 10 meters and I still put all 6 rounds on, myself not being a great 9 mil shooter...
Really a good conceal size for self defense.
I scored this gun for less than $200 shipped. I was expecting little but got much more. This little guy is built like a tank, reliable as the day is long. I figured the trigger would be atrocious, it's actually really crisp and not too heavy. I'm beyond happy with this purchase and know you will be as well.
I love Ruger, this is my second one. However, the recoil on this one makes it NOT fun to shoot at all. I got it for conceal and carry, but I'm re-thinking that. Yes, it's very good size for that purpose, but with this recoil... not sure it's a good choice. Maybe because my hands are not strong enough like a man I have that opinion, so if you are a lady, definitely find something else.
I’ve owned this firearm for two years and use it as my CC firearm. Slim, even balanced and smooth trigger pull. It’s small and light enough to keep in a backpack, purse, or handbag. I’ve put over 500 rounds through it so far without any issue. Great price for a quality 9mm.
Great gun! Best buy for the money. It is a great catty gun and great to shoot at the gun range.
I don't know that you will find a better value carry gun on the market! The EC9s is slim and has an excellent trigger. Difference between the LC9s and the EC9s is that the sights on the EC9s are just black iron but you don't need hi vis sights on a carry gun.
Great pistol for the money. Shoots like any short barrel pistol. For defense at close range the price is great! I added a Crimson Trace laser for better accuracy in tight situations.
I purchased this pistol a couple of months ago and am extremely satisfied with the feel, great trigger and accuracy. This is the third firearm I’ve purchased from Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore and am pleased with every purchase.
This is a great conceal carry pistol. Looks and feels good, shoots great. Service and delivery was great even with the added delay due to high demand.
Good gun at good price.
First impression is I am very pleased.
