Introducing the game changing Sig Sauer P365. Micro-compact everyday carry size with unprecedented 10+1 full-size capacity. The P365 is striker-fired, with the clean crisp trigger pull you expect from a SIG. Lightweight and easy to conceal, the P365 is chambered in 9mm and is rated for +P ammunition. Included standard are XRAY3 Day/Night sights, a 10-round flush fit magazine, and a 10-round extended magazine. An optional 12-round extended magazine allows you to bring the total capacity to 13 rounds. The new P365. Bring More. Everyday.
The unique grip design and higher grip to bore axis reduces perceived recoil and makes the P365 as comfortable to shoot as many mid-sized pistols. The grip is fully-textured polymer with a slim-line rail that will accommodate SIG light or laser accessories. The stainless-steel slide comes standard with front and rear serrations for easier slide manipulation, as well as XRAY3 Day/Night sights for faster sight acquisition under all lighting conditions.
Disassembly is safe and easy with a three-point takedown that does not require the trigger to be pulled. A generous trigger guard undercut also allows for a higher hand position and better retention. The narrowing magazine design allows the upper part of the grip to be perfectly contoured to fit the shooter’s thumb when fired.
The P365 is a pistol for professionals and civilians alike who want a smaller, high-performance pistol that does it all. This is the ultimate, everyday concealed carry pistol.
The 365 performs very well and my review addresses new shooters. I suggest that your first handgun should not be the 365 but one with a longer barrel. Novice shooters need to develop good gun handling skills...grip, stance, breathing, trigger pull, and aiming before buying a small gun because any small errors in any one of these skills are really amplified causing your shot to be well off the intended mark. As far as Sig Sauer products, they are first class, and I really like their striker fired handguns as opposed to ones with hammers. Also, you may want to make sure your model has a safety...many do not. Practice, practice, and practice more. Do not buy an weapon and shoot it a few times and then put it in a drawer.
I shot 20 rounds through it and I hated it… period. It stung my hand and felt unstable in my grip. I carry a Tarus 709 that is perfect and fits my hand well. I was so disappointed. A man at the range let me try his Hellcat, love at three rounds. Gun felt balanced and stable, hit my target three times… not like the P365. Just not for me. Oh and on the extended magazine, the bottom pulled off of it when I removed it from a tight new holster… very disappointed in the quality of the weapon and the magazines. Cheap feeling.
After I shot my brothers P365 he bought here`;` I had to have one..!! Very accurate for a compact 9mm. And the fact it holds 12+1 rounds vs the LC9S 7+1 got me sold. I have a Techna Clip IWB installed on mine. My P365 is my EDC now. Wont leave home without it..!!
I purchased the Sig Sauer P365 9mm Micro Compact Striker-Fired Pistol back in June 2019. The firearm has work exceptionally and I have not had one problem with any malfunctions after firing over 500 rounds of ammunition over the past several months. Outstanding firearm!
Love the ergonomics of this weapon but always in the back of my mind a little concerned about reliability with SIG putting out this gun B-4 thoroughly vetting it. The striker problem really concerned me but supposedly all is well with the newer models with the mimed strikers. Did take a little extra time to ship due to the backlog & popularity of the weapon!
I have a lot of pistols, this is by far my favorite in the small category, it out shoots my Glock 42, LCP, my Glock 43x and my 48x, my XDS and even my XDE. My only complaint is I don't like the loaded chamber indicator.
I waited a year and waited for all the bugs to be worked out before I purchased mine.
Prior to this guns, I tried just about every single stack pistol on the market but ended up getting rid of all of them, except for Glock 43.
Yeah, there is still primer drag on the cartridge but it is slight compared to what was being shown on Youtube with the original P365s.
This gun fits my hand like a glove. I much prefer the 12 round mags and got rid of both of the 10 round mags on EBay and purchased more 12 round mags. I shot over 1,000 rounds thus far without a hiccup.
I liked this gun so much that I got rid of my Glock 26 and 43. I checked out the new P365 XL but I prefer the shorter slide of the original P365. If you are in the market for conceal carry pistol, I highly recommend that you take a look at this pistol. Unmatched for shootability, concealability, and round capacity.
Very nice ccw. Shoots with Sig like accuracy. Easy to handle, great to conceal. Ran 500 rounds in an hour without fault. I have big hands and can hold comfortably.
This is The Concealed Carry handgun of the many out there!!
I am glad I waited for the bugs to be worked out of the P365 before purchasing and cannot be more pleased with this purchase. I am so exited about this little firearm and the capacity. This has replaced my Shield 9mm as my EDC . Before carrying the P365 I carried the Shield with 7+1 and a spare 10 round mag and now with the P365 I carry 12+1 and a spare 12 round mag. This was on my want list but Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore throwing in the 12 round magazine for free was more than I could resist!
So happy with this purchase, it shoots very nice, recoil is not a problem and zero malfunctions. So far I have shot three different type hollow points and staggered the rounds with FMJ just trying to see if it would FTF or FTE and it ran perfect. The XRAY3 Day/Night sights are very pleasing to my not so great eye sight. If you are looking for an EDC I don't think you can do better than this for capacity, reliability and conceal-ability.
I own P938s and P238s, 4 of each in different models. Then the P365 comes out. It has replaced all of those, plus 2 Walthers, SWs, and a Ruger. Put 1k rounds on a very early build with 0 problems.
Bought a second for my wife. I added the flat faced trigger from gray guns. Made them even better. Can't wait for new 15 rnd mags to come out to use at range. Those will be hard to get.
I carried a Kahr PM 9 for years because it was as small as most 380s, but I have sold it now that I have the Sig 365. The 365 is a great carry gun and a great value. I shoot it very well and I get 11 rounds instead of 7. The night sights on the 365 are great and the texture of the 365 feels good in my hands. It is the ultimate carry gun for concealment. Also love the trigger, there isn't anything I don't like about the Sig 365. I would give it extra stars if I could. And I have made many purchases from Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore and they are a great store to do business with.
This is my second Sig purchase. Bought the P320 X Carry and couldn't be happier. Wanted something a lil more concealable for summer time and found it with the P365. Very comfortable to carry and shoot. 500 flawless rounds through it so far. I highly recommend this for anybody. Only downfall is the 10 round magazines are a tad small for bigger hands. I purchased the 12 round magazines that are a little longer and now it fits the hand like a glove. Shipping was extremely fast without problem to my FFL. Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore got my future business for sure.
In regards to Comment 14 Sig P365. The 365 has a 3.1 inch barrel, the Glocks you compared it to are over 4 inch barrels. This makes a significant degree in accuracy. The comparison should of been to the Glock 43 with a 3.41 barrel length. Sig comes with a great trigger and X-Ray Night sights! I hope this gets posted in all fairness to Sig Sauer.
Back in the day I qualified as pistol expert. Fast forward 50+ years and I can still get 2 inch groups with my Glock 19, 17 and 27. So when I bought the P365 I thought I found the ultimate carry compared to the G19. Turns out I couldn't hit a decent grouping to save my a$$. Maybe it's the grip angle, I don't know...all I know is this pistol didn't work for me.
I’ve had almost every single stack pistol you can think of, the P365 is the same size as it’s single stack competitor. I had my reservations at first after reading all the internet hype about initial release stutter step. Sig has fixed them and now it’s a excellent conceal carry option. I have 570 flawless rounds threw mine
Ordered on Thursday, got at my FFL on Tuesday 4 business days later. SOS always ships firearms Fedex 2nd day air. The manufactured date on my firearm was Sep 23, 2018 I got it Nov 13, 2018. It was manufactured roughly 3 weeks before I received it. This was a pleasant surprise as SIG has been addressing minor issues with the P365 line. On the range went through 100 rounds, the firearm performed flawlessly, not a single malfunction. Magazine a bit hard to load after 7th round, but with will likely get better, since it's a new spring.
My current inventory consists of Springfield XD-s and M and Sig P226 and this thing rocks. Best trigger out of any of the above mentioned guns. Better than the glocks I’ve fired plus the capacity. Seriously why would you want to carry anything else especially for the size. Now I will say I had 2 failure to lock back but it was within the first 100 rounds so maybe needed to be broken in or I was resting my thumb on the slide release. I’ve since fired 600 trouble free rounds ranging down steel rounds to Winchester white box and Federal 150gr HST all functions perfectly. Get your hands on the 12 round mag it’s barely bigger by maybe 1/8in then a stand Glock 34 and now it’s a 13rd gun. I don’t think you will be disappointed. XRay nite sights are great so for those who say it costs to much go buy a shield or Glock 43 and then spend an extra 150 on sights and you’ll still have less capacity then I will.
Now have over 700 rounds through the 365, 115 federal aluminum, 115 sellier & beloit, 125 federal hst, 147 hst, 115 sig hp, and 115 brass federal.
One failure to feed. This happened when shooting 1 handed and was caused by me. The magazine is 1-1/2 stack!!! I prefer this over my P938 single stack for having 5 more rounds and being more accurate.
I will install Bruce Gray flat trigger when available.
Your sight picture is combat, meaning you cover bulls eye with front sight.
Sanded trigger to brush stainless look along with slide release and takedown lever and mag release. Added Silver paint to P365 logo.
Do not use acetone when removing paint, 2 coats. Weapons Shield on anything that slides and Ballistol on pivot point + cleaning & protective coat.
These short barreled firearms like to be run wet. Thank you
Sportsman's!!!!!!
Received my sig P365. Put 220 rounds through the gun and shoots low left! Looking at the slide, you can see the awesome sights are not centered on the slide! If they were centered it would bring the left grouping to center! Looking at the front sight it is #6 and I’m told they have 5 different front sights for the gun#2#3#4#5#6. #6 would make the gun shoot as low as possible before changing the rear sight!
I would like to know what other Sig P365s are coming with! Very upset of the thought of sending the gun back after waiting for along time! Once this issue is rectified this will be my favorite gun and it will be a 5 star rating! Glock must spend more time on accuracy then anyone due to the importance and a extremely top selling point!
When I first got my P365 I put about 250 rounds through it. I had the same problem a lot of people had or have. The slide would not lock back after the last cartridge was fired. It happened about 40% of the time. After reading and watching several videos on the issue, a few days later I went and shot another 250 rounds. After changing my grip a bit and keeping my thumb off the slide-lock button the problem went away. I did not have one issue with the slide, or anything else.
The P365 is now my new EDC. It shoots great, smooth and accurate. Got to love those x-ray sights also.
Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore is fantastic! I've ordered a good bit of items from them. And, every single time I am satisfied. Timely delivery, great products and especially their great service and staff. Anytime I call them, they are friendly and always have the answers. Thanks!
Gone to range several times. Enjoy every minute shooting the P365.
Let me start off by saying I bought the first generation P360 and was pissed off how Sig handled that whole chaos and was eventually grateful that they as fast as possible corrected it. With that said, I have owned many different brands and expect firearms to function and perform as intended nothing else. I must say that Sig really has a incredible firearm with this P365. The trigger is smooth and crisp and the balance and recoil on this firearm is dispersed extremely well. I shoot as well with this firearm as I do with full size Sig, Glock and SW. I can not say enough about the value and I hope Sig can maintain the bar level that they achieved with this firearm. It now my everyday CC.
I finally got my unicorn 2 months ago. I had seen and held the gun back in April 18 and decided that I wanted/needed one. When I got a call from one of the gun shops I frequent that mine had come in, I hurried down and picked it up. It was going to replace my Walther PPS which was a very nice gun on its own. I wanted a smaller, higher capacity pocket gun and the Sig did the trick. I got the gun home and without cleaning it first, I packed 10 rounds of 147 grain hollow points in the mag and went to the range I have set up on the farm. Very impressive, the first 5 shots were at 10 yards and placed all touching each other a little right of the bullseye. A fast adjustment and the gun shoots spot on. It is my only carry at this time and after several boxes of different ammo through it, I have all the confidence I need. Excellent gun and one that would actually buy again.
I am reviewing a 2nd generation P365 and found it as an amazing firearm. I put over 600 rounds down range and never had any failures of any type. No failure to fire, No failure to eject, No failure to feed and No failure to lock back on an empty magazine. I have owned several micro 9 mm handguns and I have found the key is you need to have a solid grip that provides the weapon a base to function properly. The gun is so small, if you are sloppy with your grip, with this one and many other manufacturers, you will have problems. I utilize a strong push / pull grip over he trigger guard front edge. A co-worker also had a new P365 and experienced 3 failure to fire rounds and one failure to lock back. When I changed his grip to a push / pull, he has never had another failure of any type since. The gun is accurate right out of the box and easy to draw and fire every time. The trigger is one of the best I have ever felt. Just my .02 cents. I love this firearm and is now my off duty daily carry. No hesitation!
This is very disappointing for me to write because I am such a die hard Sig fan. When I heard sig was coming out with a conceal double stack I immediately wanted it. I chose the 365 over the Glock 43 and the Springfield XDS which I liked very much as well. But the sig being a double stack had me sold and my first gun I ever bought was a sig. I waited 3 months for my gun to come in and finally received it on June 26, 2018. I shot it over the 4th of July weekend and could not wait to shoot it. However, I was very disappointed immediately. The gun would not rack its slide on the last round and it jammed as well. I contacted Gibson’s where I bought it and Sig so I am sending it back to get it fixed so now I get to wait another 6 plus weeks for it to get fixed. I am very disappointed that I spent $750 total on the fun, holster and other accessories and now I cannot even shoot it. If I had to do it again I probably would’ve bought either a Glock or Springfield for both way cheaper and no wait time. Hope this post helps anyone who’s considering the Sig! I will make another review when I get it back and shoot the devil out of it.
Great gun out of the box. The weirdest thing is having 10 rounds in a firearm this small. While at the range I kept putting it down after firing 6 rounds only to remember I have 4 more shots. After 300 rounds it has had 0 malfunctions. The size is amazing. I can fit it in my pocket with my phone. I’ll be ordering the 12 round mags soon. Love this gun and looking forward to running a few hundred rounds in it over the next few weeks.
Just shot several rounds of mixed ammo through the Sig 365, this weapon feels great! The ergonomics are superior to the Glock 26, it fits in the hand perfectly. I just received the 12 round extended magazines and the fit is perfect, hopefully there will be no feed issues with them. So far so good, great product Sig!
