Because of the factory trigger job and moon ring cut, this revolver has very quickly moved to to the top on my carry rotation. Although I prefer the black finish of my previously purchased Model 442, this Performance Center 642 is so much slicker in so many ways. Worth every penny.

I purchased this for my wife since she does not like the complexity of semi-autos. She loves the feel and looks of it. The Performance Center model provides a very smooth action. The finish and grip are first class. Rem UMC 130 gr ammo produces a manageable recoil in this lightweight.

Bought this and had shipped to LGS. Right out of the box first full cylinder down Range and the trigger would lock, not reset, and obviously the cylinder too. Next 5 rounds same thing. Had gunsmith look it over full disassembly, clean, inspect, re-assemble had the same issues. Sometimes the trigger hangs up on some ledge then breaks real hard and skips over the live round. Garbage. Had an RMA day one.
