This is my go to shotgun for my daily beat around in the woods. It just takes a beating and runs like the dickens. It’s well made, well fitted, and well engineered. The only glitch I have with it is the safety. I’m so used to shooting the “traditional” Mossberg shotguns that I find myself thumbing the tang. That’s my issue though, not the shotgun.

Definitely Mossberg quality, does not come with sling studs, the action was slightly stiff, so I took it completely apart and polished every mechanical part. Subsequently the action is buttery smooth. Hold 16 +1 of the 1.5in rounds. Great shotti at a great price.

Absolute reliability. Almost all Mossberg 500 parts are interchangeable. With an Opsol adapter, it will shoot mini-shells with equal reliability as the standard shells.

This is a basic, self defense shotgun. No frills at all. It functions with S&B 2 3/4 00 buck, no problem. This will be one that I won't show off, but I won't doubt it either.
