Chambered for the straight-walled 450 Bushmaster cartridge, the Savage 110 Haymaker offers both precision and power for deer, bears and hogs. Its AccuFit™ system lets you easily tailor the length-of-pull and comb height for a perfect fit, while the user-adjustable AccuTrigger™ offers a crisp, clean pull. Together with the AccuStock™, which secures the action three-dimensionally along its entire length, the 110 Haymaker provides the fit and function of a custom rifle—right out of the box. It features a Magpul AICS magazine, as well as an 18-inch carbon steel heavy barrel with a ported muzzle brake and 11/16-24 threading. A one-piece 0 MOA rail mounted on the receiver makes it easy to set up the rifle to your unique needs.
Every new Model 110 delivers the customized fit required for consistent accuracy— and it starts with AccuFit™. Five comb riser sizes let you lock in the perfect cheek-to-stock weld for fast and consistent target acquisition and enhanced accuracy while four composite inserts establish your unique length-of-pull.
I couldn’t be more happy with this Rifle. I shot my biggest buck to date on our new farm at 200 yards with this gun. Very accurate and powerful. Put him down in his tracks!
I am very pleased with this gun. I wanted a 450 but didn't like the way the Ruger felt. I like the heavy barrel and adjustable stock. The gun doesn't feel small and cheap. I am using a Nikon Prostaff scope and it is very accurate. I shot 3 deer this year with it. I am shooting 1 groups at 50, 75, 100, and 125 yards, using standard Hornady ammo. I removed the muzzle break and screwed on a compensator to direct the noise away from me as opposed to back at me. The 450 is a loud gun. This did not seem to negatively affect recoil. The recoil is not bad at all, especially with the heavy barrel. This was a good upgrade for me. If you are thinking about a 450 and want a gun that is more substantial, doesn't feel cheap and is very accurate spend a little more and buy the Savage. You will be happy.
Great rifle, zeroed at 150 yards, makes it dead on at 100 and 200, great deer gun, well built, Savage did great on this rifle.
