Great for EDC. I was on the fence about the shorter barrel. Feared a harsher recoil or being less accurate. No need to worry. The price you pay for the smaller size is more than worth it for the comfort it provides. I am a bigger guy that prefers appendix carry with the nylon case from DeSantis and I nor anyone else could ever tell I have a gun. Ordered a leather holster to accommodate the new O-Light PL mini 2, which fits like a glove. The trigger is great for EDC and I added Night Vision sights. They are similar to stock sight picture and function the same only glow at night.

Picked up my new M&P 2.0, 3.6 compact .40 on Friday and ran 70 rounds thru the weapon - One Winchester white box 180 gr, and a 20 round box of Cor-Bon 135 gr hollow points. Weapon is more accurate then I am. As I am used to .357s both SIG and revolvers the report and kick are nothing to be concerned about at all.
I love that this weapon will also accept w/o modification any aftermarket .357 Sig barrel, so 2 calibers in 1. Outstanding price, fast service. Once again SOSS comes thru!
Picked up my M&P40 on Friday, July 19. Was at the range on Saturday morning like a kid on Christmas Day with a new toy. Very easy to shoot and stay on target. I only put 126 rounds through it because I didn't clean it out of the box. I used 165gr and 180gr ammo and had no problems with either.
Now it's all cleaned up and I will put 200-250 rounds through it tomorrow.
Happy with my purchase and not just because I got it on sale!!
