Using many of the same features and designs perfected in the Christensen Arms Ridgeline, the Mesa was created as a premium, yet accessible lightweight rifle with a featherlight-contour, stainless steel barrel and a carbon fiber composite stock. Weighing in at only 6.5 pounds (short action) and carrying the Christensen Arms Sub-MOA Guarantee, the Mesa is the perfect rifle to carry deep into the backcountry.
Each Christensen Arms firearm is hand built and assembled in the USA to ensure quality and precision throughout the entire manufacturing process.
Mesa. Just bought a mesa. Spent that much money and my $200 used .270 rem can out shoot this crazy expensive gun. Out of the box with an expensive scope. Burned up over $150 of ammo trying to figure out the problem. Had to send it back to Christensen and they had to replace the brand new barrel. Very unsatisfied since I missed moose season this year bc of this mess up. But haven't been back to the range yet so hopefully all is good now.
I decided to upgrade my main hunting rifle and decided on the Christensen Arms Mesa 6.5 PRC. After setting it up with a 1pc rail, Vortex tactical rings and a Vortex 3-18X44 scope. Loading it with both Hornady 147 gr. Match and 143 gr. Precision Hunter and both rounds shot really well. To be honest I was surprised. Shot sub 1 after getting it sighted in and broke in. I made a minor 1/4 adjustment going up on the grain.
It's a dream to shoot. It was easy on this old body. It's a really nice rifle and worth every penny. Plus, SOSS always delivers promptly and the price was the best I could find. Not my first purchase from SOSS and not my last.
Thanks!
