OMNI HYBRID MAXX P4B features a fully-patented metal reinforced polymer upper receiver along with a fully-patented metal reinforced polymer lower receiver. The Omni Hybrid lower features a patented hammer and trigger pin retainment system, preventing movement from the hammer and trigger pin during firing. The Omni Hybrid also features ATI's patented over-molded metal inserts, which reinforce the buffer tube housing and rear takedown pin as well as reinforce the front take down pins. This allows for metal-on-metal contact with both the buffer tube as well as the rear takedown pin thus increasing strength and durability from recoil and consistent firing.
The P4B also features a revolutionary Nano Composite Parts Kit. This kit includes the hammer, trigger, disconnector, takedown pins, safety selector, magazine release and detents all made from nano composite material that is just as strong as metal components but at only 1/2 the weight.

Just took AT Ar15 pistol 10.5 in. out for 1st time. Got for home defense. Went thru 200 rounds without a glitch. I have 2 other guns. This is my favorite already. Will put a flash can on it. Impressed with accuracy & dependability so far. Can't wait to go next week when I have more time .For the $ this is a great AR.
Out of the box this weapon looks and operates very well for the money. It cycles both 556 and 223 rounds with ease. The accuracy even with the 10 and a half inch barrel, well let me just put it this way I wouldn't want anybody more proficient than me with this weapon firing at me within 100 yards. The accuracy is very good. The only downfall with my particular weapon was that I had a problem with the safety switch. The safe and fire selector switch is plastic and had some debris from the molding process that hindered ease of selection between fire and safe. Once I cleaned it and cleared the debris it works perfectly.
