Bought mine in 17HMR spring of 2021. This is my 4th 17 caliber. The others have been problematic for me Ruger, Savage A17 & 93. Im a ground squirrel shooter not a paper puncher. I shoot about 2000 rounds a year. I carry and use my rifle like a tool. I expect it to perform when I use it. The good: rifle is well manufactured form-fit-function, love the 10 round magazine and eject design WAY better than Ruger and Savage 93, smooth bolt operation, very handy length not overly long, very nice trigger, great bolt throw 45deg, very accurate, no malfunctions. The bad: this rifle weighs a ton much too heavy to carry with scope, safety much harder to throw than necessary they can be adjusted, Bolt operation very stiff you will lose your sight picture. Summary: I will continue to use this heavy rimfire rifle until a lighter version comes along but it will ride on my ATV and not be carried far by hand.
