Introducing the new Marlin Dark Series. The speed and accuracy of Marlin lever actions blacked-out and tricked out for the modern hunter. The new Dark Series rifles feature a stealthy-tough black matte Parkerized finish and a black-webbed hardwood stock, with a host of performance enhancements, including a threaded barrel, big-loop lever and XS Lever Rail with ghost ring peep that also accommodates a wide variety of optics.

First time online buyer from Chicago here. Looked around for a Marlin 1895 dark series model for a long time. Came to sportsman’s outdoor superstore and saw they had them In stock no one else ANYWHERE had any. I Immediately thought this was a scam site. Did some research and talked to some people and they assured me it wasn’t so I went to order one and saw they were sold out. Checked in periodically and saw they had more in so I pushed that buy button. I ordered on June 23 and got it at my local FFL guy on July 10. Not bad at all. I wanted to share that part first for anyone having second thoughts about ordering from these guys because they are legit. Now for the Marlin. It is a beautiful beast! I love the look, feel, and history of my lever baby. I decided to go with this model because I love deep woods excursions with my family and wanted a little something to thwart any wild chupacabra attacks also a JIC for when the zombies decide to appear. I haven’t gotten a chance to shoot it yet because I’m in Chicago and ammo is taxed here so I have to make a protest trip to another county to purchase cheaper ammo as this caliber 45-70 is pricey to begin with. Needless to say as far as I know this baby is a beast and fun to shoot so i look forward to getting it out there in the next couple of weeks. So order with confidence because these guys have the inventory. I will say that I emailed them and didn’t get a response but that said I would definitely order from sportsman’s outdoor superstore again in a heartbeat. Hope this helps! Stay safe!
