Firearm Features

  • Lower receiver is fitted with an adjustable SB Tactical® SBA3™ Pistol Stabilizing Brace® to aid in accuracy, balance and recoil management.
  • Handguard is free-floating for accuracy and the slim, 9" length provides enhanced ergonomics and support. Magpul® M-LOK® accessory attachment slots along the 3:00, 6:00 and 9:00 positions.
  • Made from aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum forging, the flattop upper receiver includes a forward assist, dust cover and brass deflector.

(5 out of 5) 300

I love this rifle. Received it in 7 business days of order. The price went up over a 100 dollars. Just wish it came with sights and a muzzle brake.

(4 out of 5) Definitely worth the money especially for less than 7 bills
by from North Smithfield, RI on

I ordered this firearm… Sorry pistol in early to mid May. It took almost a month to arrive at my ffl due to COVID related delays. Without any upgrades it’s okay. No irons and the trigger is a heavier mil spec. The adjustable brace, full length top pic rail and m lok handrail all combine to give you a very affordable platform to easily upgrade with all the money you save. I personally added A birdcage flash hider, mbus sights, a holosun green dot, a Ruger 452 elite 2 stage trigger, magpul angle grip, armaspec H2 silent buffer/spring, CMC enhanced BCG, and Radian LT Ambi charging Handle, and still spent sub 1300 total investment for a perfect “for me” PDW. I recommend buying this and customizing it to your liking over time. You won’t be disappointed.

(5 out of 5) Sweeeeeet.
by from Roy, UT on

Purchased online, showed up at local FFL in 2 days... yes really. Super easy, very fast and S.O.S. kept me informed over the 48 hours it took`;` Won’t be the last time I order from these folks! As far as the weapon itself- sexy looking and crazy quality from an American manufacturer with a very reputable history. Throw on some aftermarket goodies and a muzzle compensator and this thing is sweeeet. With so many new models coming to the market, Ruger is blowing away the competition these past two years as far as cost, warranty and overall usability. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company and this firearm.

(5 out of 5) First AR!
by from Frazee, MN on

This is actually my first AR anything, so I don't have much to compare it to. But I'm a Ruger snob anyway so I love it. It's fairly light, has threaded barrel for break or suppressor, it shoots when I pull the trigger... What else do you really need to know!
Shipping was super fast and I got the swinging deal 4 moa Vortex strike fire with it. Not a fan of the buttons on the strike fire though. They don't give you any audible click when pressing them, and they get really hard to press when cold. I guess I'll just have to search for a knob control red dot. I was able to try deer hunting with it this year... But no luck.. hopefully next year!

(5 out of 5) Very good AR pistol for the money!
by from Oklahoma City, OK on

No joke, this AR pistol performs pretty good despite being cheaper compared to its competition. Shooting this AR pistol is satisfying, recoil is barely any higher than 5.56, the SB tactical brace is surprisingly good like an actual AR stock, and the MLOK free float handguard is a clean design.
Although if you plan to modify the gun, I suggest you check the ATF rules since they are pretty sensitive/complicated when it comes to AR pistols. Other than that, I would recommend this gun to anyone who enjoys shooting or for home defense.

(5 out of 5) Awesome gun!
by from Davenport, IA on

Great gun. Can't beat it for the money. The fit and finish is also spot on. Shoots really well. Shipped fast as well!

(5 out of 5) Awesome AR Pistol
by from Panhandle, WV on

What a great AR pistol for a great price! Ruger really nailed it with this one. Fit and finish is excellent and quality parts. The weight and balance are spot on. I like how they included the 300 blackout on the magazine and dust cover. Thread protector is nice. Came off easy and put a AAC Compensator/Flash hider on. You won't be disappointed with this firearm!
