This Tanker configuration of Springfield's famous SOCOM 16 features a vintage walnut stock that pays tribute to those who have carried Springfield Armory rifles into battle for over 200 years.
The M1A Tanker is a maneuverable and compact rifle, featuring a 16.25-inch parkerized barrel, nearly ten inches shorter than the M1A standard model, for quick-handling in close quarters.

Not a valuable review since I haven't shot it yet. Its heavy and the wood is nice.
Just like its predecessor, the M1 Garand, the M1A Tanker is a strait shooting rifle. When properly sighted in could, figuratively, cut grass. Accurate, lightweight. and easy to handle and clean. Worth every penny.
This rifle follows the legacy of its grandfather, the M1 Garand. It cuts grass, shoots straight, lighter than the Garand and dependable. Worth the money I paid for it.
