For 2019, Ruger introduces four new configurations on the popular EC9s pistol, including this model, which features a purple grip frame and an aluminum cerakote slide. The EC9s is a reliable and affordable striker-fired concealed carry pistol. The lightweight, compact and slim design holds 7+1 rounds of 9mm Luger ammunition and features fixed sights and a manual safety.

  • Includes finger grip extension floorplate that can be added to the magazine for comfort and improved grip.
  • Sights are machined integrally with the slide and feature glare-reducing, rear-facing serrations.
  • Blued, alloy steel barrel.
  • Safety features include integrated trigger safety, manual safety, magazine disconnect and inspection port that allows for visual confirmation of a loaded or empty chamber.

I’ve named it Amethyst and I have been practicing with handling it. I like both the look and feel of the gun, but I have not actually shot it yet. Right now I’m just getting comfortable with handling it. It’s so exciting. Next I want a pink gun.
