Born of the traditions of the Old West, the Rough Rider maintains much of the look and feel of the legendary Single Action Army revolver, only in a scaled down version. Chambered for the .22LR and .22 Magnum cartridges, the Rough Rider is manufactured using state-of-the-art precision machinery that assures its accuracy and reliability. The cylinder lock-up is tight and the perfect timing of the action makes for a handgun that will put its shots where you want them.
The machined barrel is micro-threaded and inserted into the frame for the optimal barrel/cylinder gap to give you maximum ammunition performance. A hammer block mounted in the recoil shield provides extra protection and has a red dot indicator that lets you know when the gun is ready for action.
Heritage Rough Rider Revolvers are illegal for sale in the states of Illinois and Minnesota due to "melting point" laws.
Bought two of these guns back in 2006 for my son and I to shoot. Always had a ball with these guns!! Shoot great, with either cylinder!!
Bought this gun because I wanted a 22WMR which I never had before. Right out of the box, the 22LR cylinder, which was installed in the gun, hung up when rotating the cylinder to make it safe. Took the gun home and cleaned and inspected it. The 22LR cylinder still hung up.
Decided to go to the range to shoot it for break in with a couple hundred rounds. Great shooting gun with 1 1/2 groups at 7 yards. Found problem to be 2 chambers with burrs which were hanging up on barrel breach. Deburred with jewelers file. End of problem. Gun now works flawlessly. This gun is a good bang for the buck!!
I love this Rough Rider Heritage, I carry it everywhere I go.. lightweight I forget it's there half the time. The craftsmanship is spot-on one of the better small-bore single actions I've ever owned and come on now for a fraction of the price of what I'm used to paying I should have bought a dozen of them!!!!!
Fun gun. Nice action feels good in the hand. Well done. Love the interchangeable cylinders. Come on for $140! Cool factor alone worth it. Accuracy is fine.
