i love my hi point 45 cal. i am female and very small wrists, but the heavy weight of the 45 does not even bother me. i actually think it helps me shoot more accurate. the ONLY handgun i have owned in my lifetime that i can shoot accurately! i just really wish Hi Point made a 357 caliber. my husband wants one so badly, but other brands are just WAY too expensive. he actually prefers revolvers. sad hi point dont make any of those either. maybe someday before we pass!! HI POINT IS AWESOME. the warranty is out of this world. ours was dropped on concrete a week after purchase and broke the back site. no problem.. new one was sent within a week.. doesnt get any better than that.. keep it up hi point!
Robust and reliable . Decent sights , accurate shooter . Quick to use saftey .
I could honestly give a damn about looks. Not only is this beast accurate, its reliable. JMHO, but I swear Hi-Point engineered their weapons to function when they are way beyond just dirty. Like the old Timex commercials said, They take a licking, but keep on ticking.
People will call it what they want, but this .45 bad boy is accurate and reliable. NEVER a FTF or FTE with any ammo I have put through it! LOVE the adjustable sights!
This gun is fun to shoot, never jams and is accurate. You can share magazines with the 45 carbine which is also reliable and very accurate. Hi Point has been around for 25 years and makes a good product. If you can find one in stock buy it and support American companies.
This gun is inexpensive and there is a reason. It's very heavy. Aiming is OK if you have a strong wrist. I took it apart to clean it and the gun literally fell apart. I had to take it to a gunsmith to put it back together since the schematic was incomplete. It took him 45 minutes to reassemble. Very frustrating.
Bought this gun and have put 600 round through it without an issue. Would recommend it to anyone. Not pretty. But shoots every time.
