This is a decent rifle by itself. The included 2-7x32 scope is a scout scope that Vortex makes for mounting in a very forward position on something like a scout rifle or an AR platform. It simply cannot work with this rifle.
 Unsure if it was a mistake but Mossberg has been unwilling to help. This was an inexpensive rifle and wasn't expecting much but this thing is useless as-is.
