Harkening back to the classic lever-action design, this R92 features the classic octagonal barrel profile for increased accuracy and balance. The warm Brazilian hardwood furniture compliments the rifle's polished stainless-steel finish from the muzzle to the buttplate. A traditional rear buckhorn sight is adjustable and rounds-out the heritage motif.
It arrived quickly to my FFL and, upon inspection, was flawless. It's a really nice looking gun. My FFL is also a gun range so I was able to try it out on the same day. It shot perfectly. The lever action was smooth and I ran about 24 rounds of Blazer 158 grain .357 through it. From 50 feet, I had a 6 inch group around the bullseye. What more can you ask for? Also if you have never shot .357 in a rifle, the recoil is light compared to a revolver. I highly recommend this rifle. It's a keeper!
I bought this Rossi lever action .357 with a 24-inch octagonal barrel about a year and a half ago. It's a great rifle, both in looks and function—well worth the $700. I own several lever action rifles, and this one is probably my favorite. I just bought another Rossi lever action with a 24-inch octagonal barrel in .44 Mag; I should have it in a few days. Rossi R92 lever action rifles are worth the money—just find one in the caliber you want and pull the trigger!
