Cmc Triggers Glock 17 Fluted Barrel Threaded DLC Bronze HXBN

First off, no issues with Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore. They have always been phenomenal.

Now about the barrel. I bought this after having read reviews that were good and bad. More recently the reviews were good. Most of the bad reviews were about coating wear almost immediately to the barrel. Unfortunately, that is my circumstance as well. I have 2 boxes of factory ammo through it with significant coating wear...pretty much stainless in areas. For the record, I used this barrel bronze in a slide with over 1000rds through it. And there is almost no wear mark on that barrel. So I can argue it is not the slide. This CMC barrel has very noticeable wear in several places already. The worst is the coating flaking away at the lettering. Also, if you want bronze, this is not your barrel. If you want more rose gold, this would work. The thread protector is a bronze color though. The barrel is accurate and it worked great with a Herrington comp. But that's all the good I can say. Overall, I would not buy this again. If you don't care about the coating, go for it. If you want something that keeps it looks...there are a ton of options out there.
