The Citadel BOSS-25 shotgun (based on the popular AR platform) is truly a versatile shotgun that is capable of home defense, recreational, as well as competition use. The BOSS-25 is built from the ground up to be a user-friendly, hard use shotgun that will perform under the harshest conditions.
Looks and shoots great! Had some jamming problems, but once I got many rounds off it and did a good cleaning, it performs better than the first time! This is over 3 years of owning it! Love it!
Been almost a year now and atleast 500 rounds gone through mine..It repeat shots smoothly no cycling issues and one of those shotguns you can track, shoot and repeat shot if needed because the recoil energy is well managed just use 1450 to 1500FPS rated high brass loads.. Before you ever shoot these Turkish guns you must fully disassemble down to its core parts , clean off the thick shipping oil re-lube with gun oil, basically dripping wet and make sure YOU install the correct piston bushing for the rounds your shooting..Up to 1550FPS ammo gets light weight piston sleeve or it wont cycle fully..Heavy piston is for super heavy loads like Slugs.. Action is smooth ,trigger is typicle firm, whole rifle feels firm loaded and under aim.. Upper receiver is a alloy shell with steel action, chrome breach & lined barrel.. lower is a polymer, grip is part of that mold, butt stock unbolts through shouder pad with a socket and extension..That bothered me when brand new, now i see there are no unseen issues after a year of beating on this rifle at a range doing tactical drills..Im over the whole polymer mental issue i had.. Upper receiver and lower mate tight, no slop no rocking between them..im ok with this design because it saves alot of weight... Cheek riser is junk, i removed mine so are the supplied pop up plastic sights..About anything you wish can be mounted..a full picitanny rail on upper receiver , on upper and on lower sections of hand rail leading edge allows some furniture like a light or lazer.. Mags and a 20 round drum all seem to interchange between these Turkish shotguns, if its mag fed and from Turkey im betting they all interchange... This is a sub 1K shotgun..It works and feeds well with the proper ammo, ive done 20 rd mag dumps on mine and it tracks easy for such a big lead slinger..What more can i say..mine is NOT A LEMON..Happy shooting!
Its everything it advertised and looks even better in person. So far I havent noticed and Quality Control issues or performance issues. 10/10 would buy and may buy another
I bought one online, and it was dropshipped to a local FFL for the transfer. I went to check it out to make sure it was what I ordered, and do the background paperwork when it arrived at the dealer before taking possession. The first thing I noticed after opening the factory sealed box, was the surface rust and pitting on the included choke tubes. I was disappointed, but not a total deal breaker. Then I pulled the plastic off the shotgun itself to inspect it. The charging handle fell out of the gun and onto the floor as I removed the plastic. Not the little protective rubber cover... the whole handle. The gun had pieces of the BCG missing. I like my fingers, eyes, ears, and toes. Im not putting rounds through a weapon made by anyone that allows something like that to get past Quality Control, and you shouldnt either. Buying this gun is a foolish purchase.
