Purchased this Thompson Venture 2- 308 riffle / Bronze.. finally took the riffle to the range as it needed sighting/ scope. Took a while to locate Ammo due to covid.. Nikon - 3x9x40 BDC Prostaff. @ 100 yard i was able to hit 5 clay targets. It too me 9 rounds to get it sighted but after that i took out the other 4 clay targets @ 1 shot each.. This riffle is amazing. look forward to doing some game hunting this year with it . Awsome riffle... Thanks
Took to range on May 5th 2021 yesterday. Bore sighted at home then shot at 100 yds. Did a rough zero with 3 shot groups. Hornady America whitetail 150 gr, 9 rounds and was at .85 roughly for a group. 200 6 in gong no problems at all with hitting. School still out but first impressions Excellent...to say the least. Will make a good field gun. Bolt was a little stiff on locking round but expect it to loosen up when a few more rounds are put thru as my 270 was at first.
