I got this rifle and changed out the scope. Shot some handloads, 87 grain Hornady spire points with benchmark. 3 shot group I could cover with a dime at 100 yards. I also shot Sierra 107 SMK with varget and shot about the same size group. For the money spent, I got a nice shooting rifle with no kick. Want to get out and shoot further distances next time around.

I have not shot this yet. I was looking for an entry level introductory bolt action rifle so I could learn, grow, and build off this platform. This is an incredible value.

My rifle was packaged well, bolt removed with chamber flag in place, mag in a separate area in the box, bikini caps on the scope. Scope glass is clear and elevation/windage turrets make audible clicks. This is the original Banner scope, not the Banner 2 with the BDC holds. Shipping was extremely fast given the current Christmas demand. This is of no surprise to me as expectations need to reflect price point, but the fore-end is flimsy from the first 6 of the stock going back. I plan on putting this in an MDT LSS or a Boyds Varmint stock.

I'm well read and very happy that I made the decision to pick this up. This a medium weight rifle, around 9lbs with scope, yet 6mm arc has half the recoil energy of the .308 and similar ballistics but with better trajectory due to high BC ammo. 308 being 13lb of RE and 6 arc being 6lb of RE more similar to 5.56.
