The CASCADE™ is CVA’s first ever bolt-action centerfire rifle. Long the leader in both muzzle-loading rifles and single-shot centerfires, CVA has applied it’s nearly 50 years of experience into making what we feel to be the best bolt-action on the market for its price.
The CASCADE’s 4140 carbon steel barrel is finished in Cerakote Black Finish. The series features a threaded muzzle, including an attached Muzzle Brake. The bolt design incorporates a 70° throw for smooth and fast operation, plus generous scope clearance. Loading is a breeze with its flush-fit, detachable magazine.
CVA's own synthetic stock is fiber-glass reinforced and has a Realtree-Hillside Camo pattern with SoftTouch finish, for easy gripping, even in the harshest weather conditions. Dual front swivel studs allow for the use of both a sling and a bi-pod at the same time.

I wholeheartedly recommend this CVA rifle. It groups at 100 yards with .75 MOA and .5 MOA using Barnes and Hornady American Whitetail ammunition. I convinced two buddies who are hunting with us this fall to buy the same rifle, and all three rifles shot similar groups. The trigger pull is at 2.2 lbs. There's also an article in the Illinois Shooter Newspaper about it.
