The EC9s is a striker-fire with a short, light, crisp trigger pull for faster, more accurate shooting. It is slim, lightweight and compact for personal protection. It features rugged construction with through-hardened steel slide and one-piece, high-performance, glass-filled nylon grip frame. A checkered grip frame provides a secure and comfortable grip. Includes finger grip extension floorplate that can be added to the magazine for comfort and improved grip. Sights are machined integrally with the slide and feature glare-reducing, rear-facing serrations. Safety features include integrated trigger safety, manual safety, magazine disconnect and inspection port that allows for visual confirmation of a loaded or empty chamber.

This gun is pretty all right, but it definitely has room for improvement. It loads fast, which is great, but otherwise, I feel like a few details could’ve been done a little better, and it looks nothing like the picture. That said, it's great for carrying, especially for little ladies like myself. I’m 5 foot nothing and weigh about 105 pounds soaking wet, and I can hold it in my hand very comfortably, as long as I have the kick plate on. Either way, it's nice. They definitely could have done more with it, though. They kind of missed the mark in some areas. Really, it should’ve come with an extra clip as well. It's very hard to get the seventh round in the magazine. Also, like I said, they missed the mark in some areas.
