Product Description
The Mossberg 940 Pro Field is a full-size, right-hand, gas-operated semi-automatic shotgun chambered in 12 Gauge with a 3" chamber. Featuring a durable 28" vent rib steel barrel with a matte blued finish, and an attractive walnut adjustable synthetic stock, this shotgun is built for reliable field performance. The 940 Pro’s gas system is engineered to run up to 1500 rounds between cleanings, with corrosion-resistant internal components such as a nickel boron-coated gas piston, magazine tube, hammer/sear, and shell stop. Additional features include an enlarged/beveled loading port, elongated elevator, anodized follower, and a HiViz CompSight fiber optic front sight. It comes with Mossberg’s Accu-Set choke system (full, improved cylinder, and modified) and a drilled and tapped stainless steel receiver, making it a versatile choice for hunting and sport shooting.
